Once upon a time, there was a kind cowherd. He lived with an old ox.

從前，有一位善良的牛郎。牛郎和一頭老牛相依為命。

One day the old ox spoke to him,

有一天，老牛對他說：

“ Tomorrow there will be seven beautiful fairy weavers taking their baths in the river.

「明天，會有七位美麗的織女仙子，來這條河洗澡。

You can hide one of their dresses, and that one will become your future wife.”

你可以把他們其中一位的衣袍藏起來。那位織女仙子就會成為你的老婆。」

The next day, the cowherd did what the ox said.

隔天，牛郎照著老牛的話做。
