Many centuries ago, there appeared in the sky ten suns.

好幾世紀前，天上出現了十顆太陽。      

People became very frightened, so the emperor told one of his soldiers,

Hou Yih, to use his bow and arrow to destroy nine of the suns.

人們很恐慌，所以皇帝就告訴他的士兵“后羿”使用弓箭去摧毀9個太陽。

Hou Yih shot down nine extra suns,

and saved the earth from being burned up.

后羿射下了9個多餘的太陽，拯救了地球免遭焚毀。
